Prime Day starts tomorrow, and I always get questions about what I use and recommend, so I put together a few of my personal picks below.
A quick note before you take a look: supplementation looks different for everyone. Your body, your health history, and your needs aren't the same as mine—or anyone else's.
What I'm sharing here are products I personally use, have researched, or trust based on my own experience. They are recommendations and you certainly don't need everything on this list.
Please talk with your healthcare provider before adding a new supplement, especially if you're pregnant, nursing, taking medications, or managing a health condition.
With that said, here's what's on my list. 💛
Supplements
With the cooler months ahead, these are a few supplements I like to have on hand:
Oil of oregano — If I feel a slight sore throat or start having a cough, I start taking this right away (I take it with food and not for more than 5 days).
Vitamin C — One I like to keep on hand as part of my overall wellness routine and for immune support.
Zinc —Another nutrient I like to have on hand, especially during the cooler months. Zinc plays an important role in normal immune function.
Foods
Kettle & Fire Bone Broth — A staple in my kitchen. I love having an easy option on hand when I want something warm and nourishing. You can also find this in many local grocery stores. I like to add a little salt to about 8 oz when I drink it
Baja Gold Sea Salt — my go-to mineral-rich salt for every day cooking. I also like Redmond Sea salt which I usually pick up from Sprouts. Those are my two favorites.
Pluck Organ Meat Seasoning — A friend put this one on my radar, and I gave it a try—and I love it! It contains grass-fed organ meats, spices, and Redmond Real Salt. They have several flavors, but my favorites are the Original and Southwest.
Kitchen Items
One change I've made over time in my own kitchen: swapping out plastic containers for glass. It's a simple switch, but it's one I feel good about for my family.
Pyrex Glass Storage — I like this set because it has a good mix of different sizes, so I can use them for everything from leftovers to meal prep.
Crockpot — A little bit of a splurge, but so worth it in my book. When life gets busy, this makes it easy to throw together a good meal like pot roast, chili, or soup and have dinner ready without a lot of work. It's definitely one of those things I appreciate on busy days!
Breville Oven Fryer — This one is definitely a splurge, but it's been well worth it for our family. We stopped going through the drive-thru, and having an appliance that can cook a meal quickly made that transition so much easier. Chicken, for example, only takes about 15–17 minutes.
Books
The Gut-Brain Collection — This was one of the first books I read about the gut-brain connection. It is researched and well-written. A great read if you are interested in a deeper dive on the gut brain connection.
Humility Rules— I've read this book twice now—the first time a few years ago and again just two months ago. The author, a Benedictine monk, breaks humility down into 12 simple steps and shares practical wisdom for cultivating greater peace and perspective.
Metabolical— You can't solve a problem if you don't understand it. Dr. Robert Lustig takes a deep look at how our modern food environment and metabolic health intersect with chronic disease and explores the important roles of the liver and gut in overall health. This one will definitely make you think—and in my opinion is one worth reading if you want to better understand metabolic health.
You don't necessarily need everything on this list. My hope is that it saves you some time if you're already looking for something in one of these categories.
And if something you've already been considering happens to be on sale for Prime Day, great! If not, there's no pressure to buy anything. 😊

Stewardship is about how we care for the body we've been given. Choosing wisely, even in small things is one quiet way we honor that.

The AI notetaker that gets the hard words right
Your AI is only as good as what you feed it. Feed it a transcript with your product names, acronyms, and numbers spelled wrong, and you spend the afternoon hand-fixing the output.
Wispr Flow Notetaker uses your dictionary and calendar, so product names, acronyms, numbers, and uncommon names come out spelled right. It pops up when your meeting starts and captures Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and Slack huddles with one click, no bot joining the call.
Then your meetings show up inside Claude or ChatGPT through the built-in connector. No copy paste. Try Notetaker free on Mac and Windows.
